Crafting Grogu’s Nectar
This cocktail had to meet some unique challenges to fit the character’s narrative. The color—a muted green—is essential to evoke Grogu’s appearance, though it’s not the prettiest color for a drink. The vibrant neon green of Midori liqueur needed to be softened, achieved by blending it with bourbon, agave nectar, and fresh orange and lime juice. The result? A cocktail that not only looks the part but delivers a flavor so tasty, you’ll be reaching for seconds.
Reimagining Grogu
Recreating Grogu’s distinctive look added an extra layer of fun. His iconic wide eyes and ears were cleverly represented with simple garnishes found in most home bars. Adding a tiny “robe” as the final touch brought the theme to life, making the entire process—especially the tasting—a creative and enjoyable experience.
Grogu’s Nectar
Bourbon, Midori, orange, agave and lime

Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave syrup
- 3/4 oz midori liqueur
- 1/4 oz orange juice
- 1 fresh lime
- 2 large pitted green olives
- 2 pitted black olives or black olive slicees
Instructions
- Chill your coupe glass in the cooler
- Slice the lime in half and juice one half
- Cut the second half into quarters to create each of the two “ears”
- Stuff the green olives with the black olives to create the “eyes” and skewer on a cocktail pic
- Combine all the liquid ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until cold
- Pour into your coupe glass and garnish with the eyes and ears
